1-bedroom properties are as the name suggests, those that have one allocated bedroom. It is the smallest residential unit that has a separate sleeping area. Al Kharaitiyat is a district in the Qatari municipality of Umm Salal. "Kharaitiyat" is the plural for the word "Khurat" which roughly translates to "map-like". The district was named so due to the land terrain being uneven with many winding patterns giving the appearance of a map.
The district is located close to Al Shamal Road (Q1) and thus benefits from good transport links. The area has limited properties for rent and the prices for rental are cheaper than Doha.
