2-bedroom properties are as the name suggests, those that have two allocated bedrooms. This type of property would suit a couple or small family. There are 2-bedroom properties, mainly apartments that are advertised as having a separate office or maid/driver room within the apartment, some have their own attached bathroom too. It is advisable to check the facilities being offered and also the layout of the property as some agents do not always list all the amenities fully. It is possible to find 2-bedroom properties in the form of an apartment in an apartment block or tower, a penthouse, a section of a villa, a townhouse or serviced apartment in a residential block or hotel.

Renting an apartment in a compound offers many benefits such as security, maintenance, swimming pool, gym, clubhouse with various facilities, children"s play area and other sporting facilities to name a few. Compounds vary in size, some are gated and others have the convenience of a mini supermarket for groceries, a restaurant or even a mosque. Not all compounds offer apartments for rent as some only have villas. There is a wide variety of compounds in Qatar that suit most budgets and have all kinds of amenities. It is worth asking the agent about any adverts you have seen and checking the amenities with them if you are looking for anything in particular, as sometimes agents do not list all the available amenities in a compound.
Al Mansoura is a district in the Doha municipality of Qatar. To its north is Fereej bin Derham district and together they are commonly and jointly referred to as "Al Mansoura". Officially they together form zone 25 of the 98 zones that make up Qatar. It is a very densely populated area due to its central location between the B-Ring Road to its north and C-Ring Road to its south. To the east is the district of Nuaija and to its west is the district of Rawdat Al Khail and the area is well served by public transport with the Metro and 4 bus routes running 7 days of the week.
It has many commercial and government office blocks but most of all the area is populated with residential apartment blocks. Some of these are private with studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments available for rent. However, many are actually residential blocks for the employees of various large corporations like Qatar Airways, Hamad Medical Corporation and Carrefour. As a result, it is not an area that has many schools or even homes to rent for families. The area has plenty of apartments for rent varying from fully furnished high-end luxurious flats with all the modern conveniences and facilities to the cheaper simpler apartments to rent for bachelors or couples on a budget.
