Old Al Ghanim also known as "Ghanim Qadeem" and "Ghanim At-Tiq (Ateeq)" is a district in the municipality of Doha and is made up of two zones of Qatar (zones 6 and 16). The Al Ghanim Central Bus station: the main station and "central hub" of Mowasalat, Qatar's main and national public transport services company is also located here and 9 bus routes serve the area that run every day. Major roads that run through the district are Grand Hamad Street, Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Thani Street, Jabr Bin Mohammed Street, B-Ring Road, Ras Abu Aboud Street and Airport Street (Al Matar Street).
The area has no schools and the majority of the residents in the area are male and from the working population. There are plenty of apartments for bachelors, couples and small families in Old Al Ghanim ranging from studio flats to 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments.
