Fereej Al Nasr is a district in the municipality of Doha. In Arabic "Fereej" means neighbourhood and Al Nasr refers to the first tribe that settled in the area. It is a vibrant mixed-use district full of all kinds of shops that one can imagine from small take-out shops serving anything from Lebanese to Thai food, tailors, electronics shops and even quirky antique shops where you can find the most unusual of items. The district has good access to healthcare with the presence of two multi-speciality health clinics. The district has good road connections with Doha Expressway also known as Al Shamal Road (Q1) running along the west edge of the district and Salwa Road (Q5) on its south edge. It has good bus links, 9 bus routes in all and is very close to C-Ring Road and Al Sadd Street with 2 Metro stations within close distance to district.
