A townhouse is a type of terraced housing often referred to as "row houses" as they are constructed in rows and stand side by side with shared walls usually to both sides. Most townhouses typically have more than 2 floors and commonly three in most regions. In Qatar the majority of townhouses available are located in The Pearl or very close to it. Townhouses can be found in Porto Arabia, Qanat Quartier, Abraj Quartier, Viva Bahriya and West Bay.
Abraj Quartier also known as the "Avenue of Towers", is a precinct in the magnificent man-made Island of Qatar, The Pearl and a prime location for offices, businesses and companies. The Abraj Quartier precinct consists of seven towers, five of which are 36 storeys high, the other two being 42 storeys high. These latter two are the tallest on the island and are known as the highly prestigious UDC twin towers. Standing at over 200 meters tall on either side of the main access road, they welcome all visitors who enter The Pearl-Qatar.
The UDC twin towers have a distinct architecture, each providing panoramic and breath-taking views of the mainland across the azure waters of the Persian Gulf (sometimes referred to as "Arabian Gulf") and developed to primarily accommodate high-quality leasable commercial office space with plenty of amenities and close to 1000 car parking spaces. Beautiful and luxurious homes can be found for rent and sale in Abraj Quartier.
